Printing Services in Lahore: What Nobody Tells You Before You Order
I needed 500 business cards last month. Called four shops. Quotes came back at 1,800, 2,900, 4,200, and 6,500 rupees. Same quantity. Same size.
So I spent a week figuring out why the gap was that big. printing services in lahore is easy to find, but a good printer is harder.
The paper is the biggest thing. Nobody tells you the gsm when they quote. They just say "cards." Then you get them and they bend like a bus ticket. 250gsm is thin. 350gsm feels like something from a bank. Ask what gsm.
Half these shops don't own a press. They farm your order out and add their cut. Nothing wrong with that, but the price should show it.
Files matter. If you send a Canva JPEG, expect garbage. They should be asking for PDF.
Colour is where people get burnt. Your laptop screen lies. That deep navy comes out purple on paper. Ask for a physical printed proof before a big run. Not a PDF on WhatsApp. An actual printed sheet.
Timelines. They'll say "kal tak." Then it's three days. Then "press mein rush hai." Get the date in writing.
Here's the thing. The expensive shop wasn't ripping me off. The cheap one was using 250gsm, digital printing, and no lamination. The expensive guy was using 350gsm, offset, and matte lamination. Different products entirely, sold under the same label.
Ask five questions. Paper weight. Printing method. Finishing. Proof. Delivery date. That's it.
One last tip. Don't order your full quantity the first time you use a new shop. Order a small batch. Check the quality. Then go back for the big order.
